Clarkston is a unique community.
It is known as the most ethnically diverse square mile in the United States. Our neighbors come from over 60 different countries and speak over 100 different languages. Clarkston International Bible Church is located in the heart of this beautiful, diverse community. We love our neighbors!
CIBC used to be called Clarkston Baptist Church. It was established in 1883. The church has a long-standing tradition of loving Jesus, preaching the Bible, and serving the community. In 2004, Clarkston Baptist Church merged with the Filipino International Bible Church to create Clarkston International Bible Church. CIBC has been a growing multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-generational church ever since. CIBC is a faithful member of the Southern Baptist Convention and participates with the Georgia Baptist Mission Board and the Great Atlanta Baptist Network.
Our ultimate vision is to be a multi-ethnic, spirit-filled church family where all people can come to know, experience, and serve Jesus Christ.
Our vision informs our mission:
We Glorify God by Making Disciples Locally and Globally.
We carry at this mission as we Gather, Grow and Go. We Gather as Worshipers. We Grow as Disciples. We Go as Missionaries. We believe God has great things instore for our church. Check out these videos to get a glimpse of God’s work at CIBC and in Clarkston.
